Toshiba Announces HK3R SATA III Enterprise SSD For Read-Intensive Applications

Toshiba Digital Media Network Taiwan Corporation, a global technology innovator, is announcing the HK3R series of enterprise solid-state drives (eSSD).  Optimized for read-intensive applications, the HK3R series are suitable for tasks such as read-caching, boot, error logging, and low-duty storage usage that requires end-to-end data protection and power-loss protection.  The HK3R series feature Toshiba’s own proprietary QSBCTM (Quadruple Swing-By Code) error-correction technology, which is a high-efficiency error correction code (ECC) that ensures data safety and integrity.
