KIOXIA has just introduced their newest CD9P Gen5 14GB/s enterprise SSD which will reach a high capacity of 61.44TB in its 2.5″ form factor and up to 30.72 TB in its E.3.S form factor. The CD9P is built with KIOXIAs newest BiCS8 3D TLC NAND flash memory and features KIOXIA CBA (CMOS directly Bonded to Array). This breakthrough architecture boosts power efficiency, performance and density while doubling SSD capacity compared to the last generation.

KIOXIA CD9P Series drives deliver 4-corner performance improvements of up to approximately 125% in random write, 30% in random read, 20% in sequential read, and 25% in sequential write speeds compared to the previous generation.
