ADATA Announces XPG SX930 Gaming SSD With Enterprise-Grade MLC Plus NAND

ADATA Technology, a world-leading producer or high-performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash devices, is announcing the XPG SX930 2.5” SATA 6Gb/s Gaming SSD for professional gamers and overclockers. The SX930 features a JMicron controller, paired with Enterprise-grade synchronous MLC plus NAND Flash memory. This creates an SSD that offers excellent performance and durability for gaming systems and workstations. ADATA’s tagline for this product is “Invincibility Redefined”.

ADATA SX930 bannerThe combination of the JMicron JMF670H controller and the Enterprise-grade synchronous MLC plus NAND results in sequential read speeds of (up to) 560MB/s, and sequential write speeds of (up to) 460MB/s (varies by capacity). It also attains random 4K reads speeds of (up to) 75,000 IOPS, and random 4K write speeds of (up to) 72,000 IOPS (again, varies by capacity). The SX930 is being offered in capacities of 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB.

ADATA SX930 front viewADATA’s XPG SX930 also features ADATA’s innovative and exclusive “pSLC Cache Technology” to enhance data transfer speeds. It also utilizes a DDR3 DRAM Cache Buffer, which improves random read/write performance by up to 2 X versus SSDs without a DRAM cache.

The XPG SX930 also supports NCQ, the Windows TRIM command, and S.M.A.R.T. drive status and health monitoring attributes. ADATA is backing the XPG SX930 with a solid 5-year warranty.
