Business longevity and success don’t happen without strong relationships. While review sites must remain impartial, long-term professional connections often help foster collaboration and mutual respect. Corsair and The SSD Review are a perfect example of this.
Over the years, our relationship has extended far beyond SSD reviews. Corsair has played a key role in nearly every test bench we’ve built, dating back to 2011. In fact, one of the earliest examples can be seen in our review of the OCZ Vertex III SSD, where Corsair hardware was already helping power our testing platform. Check out this link displaying our Corsair-enhanced Intel Sandy Bridge test bench from that era.
Now take a look at how far we have come some 15 years later. The Corsair Computex 2026 Product Suite.
Corsair has always put the effort into ensuring their suite was one of the highlights of CES, and this year was no different. Lots of new gear and very clean cut; this year almost had an Ikea feel to it in a way; this very much a compliment.
As we entered the Suite, we were immediately introduced to Corsair’s newest AI Workstation 300; its theme ‘Local. Private. Secure’. This workstation is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI MAX 300 Series CPU, and running Windows and Ubuntu 24.04 with Corsair AI Software Stack OS system options available.
Next up we were introduced to their newest Warthog Airflow Mid-Tower Case which actually had a bit of history to it. Sporting a Military design based on Corsairs 4000D Infinirail rad/fan mounting chassis, this stunning olive green case actually has an origin way back to 2012 with the Vengeance C70 chassis. If you look real close at the front base, you will see jet-inspired blockers between the front IO controls. That last button labeled ‘Light’ on the far right is something manufacturers should have considered years ago, a rear mounted panel light. Stay tuned for Warthog availability coming soon!
Our next stop was at the Corsair RMe series power supply display. These are brand new Cybenetics Gold efficiency 160mm PSUs and the first of their kind with PinProtect. PinProtect is a specialized, built-in safety feature designed to protect modern graphics cards from damage caused by power irregularities at the 12V-2×6 GPU power connector.
This next chassis is exactly why we have chosen Corsair in our builds for so many years. They literally think outside the box. Innovation and every year brings something different. This is the Frame 5000D Wood RS chassis and it comes in a clean white oak or darker walnut finish; all real wood. If you have already bought the Frame 5000D and see something just a bit different here, don’t fret! You can buy different front wood panels, upgrade the front I/O, as well as glass side panels separately.
And check out this LCD screen! The Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN II ULTRA 360 LCD AIO is absolutely one of their top releases to date IMO. This screen module measures 5″ and is swappable with your present Corsair AIO, so long as it is CapSwap compatible. This AIO has much more functionality than previous versions as it connects via DisplayPort. Learn more of this upgrade here!
If you check out these three Titan II radiators, you will notice that the far Titan II Ultra is much thicker than the two others to its left. The Titan II Ultra is a 40mm thick readiator while the Titan II is 27mm thick. The Titan II Ultra is a dual layer, cross-flow radiator which provides much better cooling efficiency for those systems that need it, and those chassis’ that will fit this design. The Ultra also uses Corsair LX360 Unified FramE RGB fans for better air movement and complete silence.
Last but not least, get ready for Corsair SHUGO, their newest limited edition line of DDR5 DRAM. This is a premium release of enthusiast DDR5 DRAM that merges elite performance with collector-grade Japanese-inspired artwork. The memory is built for extreme overclocking while also serving as a central, expressive design piece in high-end PC builds. Each kit operates at 6000MT/s with a tight latency of CL28 at 1.4V, engineered for maximum bandwidth on both Intel and AMD platforms.
A big thanks to Justin Ocbina, Public Relations Manager (North America) and Corsair for inviting us along once again for the Corsair Computex Tour. More impportantly, thank you Justin and Corsair for playing such an important part in The SSD Review’s success for well over a decade.
