ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB NVMe SSD Review

PCMARK VANTAGE X64 HDD SUITE

The SSD Review uses benchmark software called PCMark Vantage x64 HDD Suite to create testing scenarios that might be used in the typical user experience. There are eight tests in all and the tests performed to record the speed of data movement in MB/s to which they are then given a numerical score after all of the tests are complete. The simulations are as follows:

  • Windows Defender In Use
  • Streaming Data from storage in games such as Alan Wake which allows for massive worlds and riveting non-stop action
  • Importing digital photos into Windows Photo Gallery
  • Starting the Vista Operating System
  • Home Video editing with Movie Maker which can be very time consuming
  • Media Center which can handle video recording, time shifting and streaming from Windows media center to an extender such as XBox
  • Cataloging a music library
  • Starting applications

  1. Agaim, a non usable review, as tests using only 1gb uses slc cache so these are mp real numbers, You are not a pro. A pro rrview must use at least 32Gb tedts

  2. The SM* controllers are said, in others reviews, to have really bad power to performance ratio. I wish you would test the power consumption of this drive.

  3. Great review! Thank you!

  4. Thank you for every other informative website. The place else
could I am getting that type of information written in such
an ideal way? I have a challenge that I am simply now working on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such info.
