DUAL 1882x RESULTS
Since we happen to have two of these controllers, we have decided to have some fun and see what kind of results that can be had with two of them.
For configuration we created two RAID 0 arrays of four C300 on each of the 1882x controllers. The settings were exactly the same for each array as we have used for the entire review.
We then configured the two volumes into a soft-raid striped volume in the disk management of Windows 7. This allows us to RAID the two separate volumes into one volume for superior speed.
These results are leaning heavily on cache, and are just for fun. They are not to be construed as real life performance that can be expected from a similar setup.
Just for fun, lets see some results!
ATTO Disk Benchmark
Here we can see some impressive results, with transfer speed of 3.7 GB/s at the 256 file transfer size.
CRYSTAL DISK MARK
Some higher results are observed here, and as you can see we have tuned this test to run in the cache of both cards simultaneously, using a 50MB test file.
We close out our ‘just-for-fun’ testing with some higher results obtained using AS SSD for testing.
The compression testing is going to give us the highest score with 2 cards that we observed; right at the 4GB/s read speed!
