ANVIL STORAGE UTILITIES PROFESSIONAL
Anvil’s Storage Utilities (ASU) are the most complete test bed available for the solid state drive today. The benchmark displays test results for, not only throughput but also, IOPS and Disk Access Times. Not only does it have a preset SSD benchmark, but also, it has included such things as endurance testing and threaded I/O read, write and mixed tests, all of which are very simple to understand and use in our benchmark testing.

Aside from being a website owner and somewhat of a storage expert when it comes to flash technology. my next love is photography. I would consider myself a media professional as my typical end-year total with respect to photography is easily in excess of 100,000 shots My equipment is reflective of such and I can easily speak to the benefit of my laptop and external media that is USB 3.2 2×2 and allowed the transferring of data up to 2GB/s. The Corsair EX4000U doubles that and that speaks to task efficiency.
The Corsair EX400U is surprisingly small and, even more unexpected is the fact that it doesn’t even warm up when transferring data at 4GB/s. The ‘Magsafe’ compatible white ring on the back of the device is very much a well thought out feature. We can find Canadian pricing but not US availability at the time of this report but we do need to comment. There are copycats to this design. Don’t fall for lower pricing only to experience a data loss. As much as we would like to have seen a 5-year warranty on the EX400U, it is an amazing external SSD and all the credit for choosing quality components such as the Phison PS2251-21 40Gbps USB4 portable SSD controller and KIOXIA TLC memory.
