Super Talent has just announced their new TeraNova SSD which they claim as their fastest SATA 3 SSD to date.
The TeraNova contains the SandForce SF-2281 processor and also highlights ‘optimized’ SandForce firmware.
Available in capacities of 64, 120, 240 and 480GB, the TeraNova will have a two year warranty and the data sheet shows speeds of 540MB/s read and 520MB/s write for the 240GB version.
Pricing has yet to be announced for the new drive and we hope to have a sample on our benches soon for testing. The TeraNova is intended for the Pro/Enthusiast market and claims better boot times and responsiveness as well as enhanced reliability and data protection in the event of power loss.
