PNY Techonologies, Inc. is announcing its next generation of high-performance consumer solid-state drives (SSDs) that are designed to optimize the performance and responsiveness of both laptops and desktop systems with their CS1311 and CS2211 series of SSDs. As consumer-oriented SSDs, the CS2211 is engineered for gamers and enthusiasts, while the CS1311 is geared toward the entry-level value market segment. These mid- and entry-level SSDs offer an excellent cost-to-performance ratio to consumers, and also include free Acronis True Image data migration software, which enables seamless transferring of your data and/or operating system from you existing drive to your new PNY SSD.

PNY’s CS1311 SSD is the latest addition to their value performance series of SSDs, and will be offered in 2.5” SATA form factor in capacities of 120GB, 240GB, 480GB and 960GB. Optimized for mixed workloads, the CS1311 is an ideal entry-level SSD that provides stable performance at a cost-effective price point. As PNY’s lightest SSD to date, the CS1311 offers low power consumption, longer battery life, cooler and quieter operation and is an excellent choice for either laptop or desktop users. The CS1311 offers high durability, and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
PNY’s CS2211 is their next generation offering of their XLR8 SSD that provides extreme performance for demanding multimedia files. The CS2211 is optimized for high sequential read speeds of up to 565 MB/s, and is specifically engineered to significantly improve game load and entry times. The CS2211 will be offered in 2.5” SATA form factor in capacities of 240GB, 480GB and 960GB. Utilizing the latest MLC NAND flash memory, the CS2211 is backed by a 4-year limited warranty.
PNY subjects their SSDs to an extensive testing and rigorous validation process to ensure high quality, reliability and durability across various platforms and multiple operating systems, including Windows 10. PNY anticipates February 2016 availability for both the CS1311 and CS2211 through select retailers, e-tailers, PNY.com and through PNY’s authorized distribution partners.
