OCZ Introduces New Synapse Cache Series SSD To Appeal To Hard Drive Crowd

OCZ has recently announced their new Synapse  Cache line of SSDs which are a SATA III family of SSDs available in 64 and 128GB.

The intent of the Synapse Cache is to appeal to the hard drive crowd that absolutely needs that extra capacity by optimizing caching applications and leverages DataCache software which will be included with the SSD.

It simply comes down to increasing performance for the hard drive end user.

We could have seen this coming with OCZ as they have picked up on every other avenue in SSD innovation and, although pricing has yet to be discussed, we would believe the Synapse Cache to be an affordable solution.  After all, with its described capacities, it wouldn’t be a member of the ‘SandForce Driven family.  Indilinx perhaps??
