TLC flash memory is widely used in consumer applications such as USB drives and digital audio players, that generally do not require high levels of performance and reliability.  By utilizing lower-cost TLC flash, combined with a firmware design that enhances performance and product life, Memoright aims for a more cost-effective consumer SSD solution.

The XT3 series is currently sampling in both 1.8″ and 2.5″ X 7mm height form factors, as well as mSATA versions.  All three form factors will be available in capacities of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.  Sequential read and write speeds are stated as 500 MB/s and 450 MB/s, respectively.  Advanced TRIM command utilization maintains and restores performance, avoiding the write “cliff” that some SSDs experience after extended use.  The XT3 series utilizes current 19nm process architecture NAND.
