HDTUNE PRO V.4.6 – BENCHMARK

HDTune Pro confirms what we have seen but also shows us that the access time of this drive is 0.051ms which is becoming commonplace in newer solid state drives.  In comparison to a hard drive which is roughly 9ms, the access time of the SSD in this case is some 176 times faster in disk access.  Along with the importance of the low 4k random write speeds discussed earlier, the access time is responsible for the visible difference we will see in comparing a hard drive equipped computer to that containing an SSD.
