The SSD Review Has Left The Building… For Computex!!!

Thats right!!! We are on our way to beautiful Taipei, Taiwan in a few short hours for Computex so if it seems a bit lonely here, don’t fret.

Actually, we have several great things planned including a ‘first up’ meeting with OCZ where we will publish a summary of their new releases right from their suiteI OCZs Revo x3 and Z-Drive are about to ‘up the ante’ in performance.

As usual we have overbooked to try and network a bit but are looking forward to meeting with Jennifer from OCZ, David from Kingston, JR from Patriot, Peter from SuperTalent and many others.  We predict a few unexpected releases and Kingston just might be a good company to watch.

We need to also give a big thanks to Sony Canada for providing us with a pre-release of the new DSC-HX100V Cybershot camera which is about to change the way we look at cameras.

Can you believe that this thing has x30 optical as well as a total of x120 digital without a lense change and can grab a closeup from less than an inch fron the subject?

Anyway, we are off and will post as much as we can from Taiwan which we know wilkl include some great shots just as CES did.  Booth babes?  You just never know right?

If we missed anyone who wants to meet up, please send an e-mail to Les(AT)thessdreview(DOT)com and we will make sure we at least get buy the booth.

Oh and upcoming reviews?  Lets see…  The Gigabyte UD3 motherboard should be up in a day or two, we just received a new OWC 6G Pro with new firmware, Corsair has a new 6Gbps SSD on the way as well as a drive coming from A-Data so we are led to believe.

This has been and continues to be a HUGE year for SSDs!

Any camera buffs?  This picture is my jeans and was accidentally taken with the camera resting on them… AMAZING!
