Seagate Releases New Barracuda Series of SSDs — Up to 2TB Capacity and Five-Year Warranty

Seagate has announced (via a blog post) the release of their newest line of SATA consumer SSDs.  Given the Barracuda name, reminiscent of some of their top-performing HDDs, this latest offering from Seagate will be available in capacities of 250GB, 500GB, 1TB and even 2TB!

Still the single most effective upgrade you can give your desktop PC or laptop, SSDs immediately yield much faster boot times, data transfer speeds and application load times.  No moving parts also make solid state drives a much more reliable storage option.
