Hi Mike,
Toshiba don’t have money to advertise-if you follow the news they’re as close
to broke as one can get.
They bought OCZ to expand their market presence-don’t know how good a
idea that was-everyone was still-“Friends don’t let friends OCZ”
They have allways been big in the OEM market,I think nearly all the Phison
SSD’s out there are made by Toshiba and re-labelled by sellers.

When everyone moved to TLC Samsung and Sandisk with ultra2 were the
only one’s that seemed to get a good grip on it-I’m surprised Toshiba didn’t
ask their partner Sandisk for help there.
Once Samsung got their 3D out they are so far ahead of everyone they
dominate the market.Bics is still MIA.
Also it don’t help-I think Phison is a bit like the old Sandforce-“using customers
as crash test dummies”

Still use it now, solid well made.there ssds were chart toppers, and there toggle nand was some of the best in the business western digital always seemed to be merging so they never seemed steady to me.I never could understand why Toshiba was never top dog over Crucial, Intel, Samsung, and they were linked to sandisk and there products are also chart toppers. They should advertise like the big players, because there products might be the best. That’s just my opinion!
