does Rapid mode works with OS X or there is any plan to make it compatible with mac ,
i heard about new firmware just release that optimising turbo write on mac is that can enable rapid mode ?

In reply to Jim. Looks RAPID will speed up your system speed by using your system memory. Hope is will improve the Write speed by using the algorithms developed by Samsung. Based on other reviews end user can enable it only for 840EVO SSD.

Les, can you give us any time frame for your first impressions and reviews? I don’t know if I should be school girl excited for a super fast budget SSD or skeptical that that even with 2-4x faster random 4k read/write speeds, it’ll be virtually unnoticeable in real world use.
