The original specifications page listed it as A15nm; this has since been modified. We have amended the article accordingly. “A15” is often part of the NAND’s acutal model number or part number as opposed to a generic description of the NAND being used.

In reply to Benjamin Hojnik. Performance was said to be better outside the NAND cache when we saw them at CES, I'll be sure to check it out when we get our review up!

It amazes me how these companies announce their new ssds with so much enthusiasm, when there new ssds are slower than the previous generation. It’s like, yeah we shrunk the nand size again, Woopie!!! And now it’s a little slower but almost as fast.

15nm and TLC looks like a very bad idea for a SSD.
Hopefully, it wont be susceptible to read degradation like 840 series was.
Also, i do wonder what kind of write speeds this can pull, once tiny slc cache is exhausted.

Now we wait for it to drop below 50€ for 240gig version
