In reply to renosablast. OCZ has bunch of enterprise grade stuff and plenty of expertise in that field, so its only reasonable to get that from them (since they own them).

In reply to Benjamin Hojnik. But does Toshiba's inhouse have an enterprise version? Until they develop their own, they may have to go outside so as to get a foothold in an exploding market now. Keep in mind that the press release says "Toshiba-designed", not "Toshiba-produced" or "Toshiba-designed and -produced."

In reply to renosablast. Yeah, but they dont own Phison though, so it makes little sense to license controller IP if you have one inhouse.

Is it possible tha these controllers are based on OCZ IP ?
i mean, it would make sense, since they bought them and OCZ has lots of expertise in controller tech.
