Seeing that Samsung will not release pricing of the retail version until October, I wonder if Dell is restricted to offer the 512GB version of the PM830 at least until then, (since a price would have to be listed for consumers selecting it on their website). Do you know if this is how it usually works? I am very interested in paying the premium for the 512GB, especially if I don't have to wait until (the end of?) October.

Do you know of any OEM's specifically that offer the pm830 in a laptop configuration today, (or when, in the future)? Trying to find this out through Dell customer service seems like an impossible mission.

SITE RESPONSE: The new PM830 has been shipping to manufacturers for a few weeks for inclusion into their systems. At this point, we have no knowledge of any such sample being seen in the wild just yet. As for Dell, historically they may not announce the new drive in their systems given exception to the fact that you may see 512GB ssds appear. Its hard to say at this point.
