We are of the opinion that Plextor may be saving the best for last in a later release of an M6P Xtreme as we have seen with the M5P Xtreme, but we cannot validate this.  If that is the case, it is unfortunate as their are other offerings right now that are more value conscious and with better all around performance.]]></description>

Thats not true exactly. They used other manufactures aswell (namley IMFT and samsung back in the day).
Its kinda strange to use toshiba at this point, since they apperently have supply issues. Maybe they still have contracts with them or something though :)]]></description>
