Thought you might be interested Les, I posted the Anobit possibility in my thread on 7 Dec at Extreme Overclocking after reading all the speculation on 520, I also posted on Softpedia on the 9th of December as food for thought, Instinct tells me Intel may not speculate with a untried controller at this point in time and I thought you had inside info anyway. All I can say is that I hope for the Anobit controller. Hard to say about firmware as Intel usually roll there own.

The Anobit sata III controller was released to the Enterprise market 3 -4 months ago, the news release stated speeds of 535 read and write at that time.

I've been in and out of Hospital and the thread got locked, there were that many people asking for it to be opened so they stickied it, didn't even ask for it. Hope your well, the site looks great.

Anobits funding as risen to 75 million, but they do have links to Apple and Samsung in flash technology.
