This would’ve been cool a year ago, but with REAL PCIE SSDs on the market that actually perform well, what are they thinking? They should dump this whole idea and use Marvell’s latest controller that supports NVME. I can’t imagine that buying 4 SF-2281 and a RAID chip is going to be cost-efficient. And it’s definitely not going to perform as well or have great hardware compatibility.

Nope. Its bad enough to have one sandforce controller, let alone 4. In raid0.
We want native pci-e solutions with NVMe, not this mess.
Also, 3 year warranty on a highend product like this is unacceptable.
