Edge Memory Shows Off Enterprise PFX3 SATA 6Gb/s SSD – CES 2017 Update

Our second meeting today was with Brandon Coles, Product Manager for Edge Memory, to discuss their latest SSD offerings. One key new product is their PFX3, which is a SATA 6Gb/s, 2.5” form factor SSD geared toward the enterprise customer.  As the model designation indicates, this latest SSD from Edge has power fail protection, a key factor required for most enterprise applications.  The PFX3 is available in capacities ranging from 240GB up to 1TB, with a 2TB version planned for later this year.
