In reply to Guest. The 3700 still hasnt been released but the 2500 has enjoyed a great deal of success. As with all controllers, and SSDs in fact, you need to undestand what your specific needs are with storage and choose the controller and SSD that best suits your companies needs.

Hi Les. I want to ask something about Sand Force. Sand Force 2281 consumer grade controller is one of the very first controllers in the SSD market and it becomes old and inefficient. Producers prefer Phison, Silicon Motion, Marvell etc… nowadays. As an expert what can you say about the “enterprise grade controllers of Sand Force (2581, 3700 etc..)?
Are they really good? I thank you.
