Fusion-io and Digital China Join Forces to Increase Availability of Low-latency ioMemory Technologies in Chinese Market

SALT LAKE CITY “ Press Release – Dec. 8, 2011 “ Fusion-io (NYSE: FIO), pioneer of shared data decentralization, today announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with Digital China, a leading provider of integrated IT services in China.

Digital China will offer the full range of Fusion-io software and hardware technologies, working closely with Fusion-io to help enterprise organizations to meet their evolving data needs.

Fusion-io offers the systems-level approach to NAND flash solutions that our customer base requires to meet the significant data demands faced today, said Leo Zhao, General Manager of Digital China Storage & Optimization Business Unit. Answering the need to process more data more quickly and with limited energy resources, Fusion-io offers a series of scalable, extremely low latency hardware and software solutions that solve the data supply problem endemic to legacy, disk-based infrastructures. The growing suite of technologies from Fusion-io is designed to accelerate applications by up to an order of magnitude, resulting in greater productivity with a reduced datacenter footprint and energy requirements.

Fusions ioMemory technologies will be available immediately to Digital China’s customers in capacities up to 10 TB. In addition, Digital China will also act as a reseller for Fusion’s ioTurbine caching software designed for virtualization optimization, and ioSphere management platform for data decentralization.
