Crucial M4 256GB SATA 3 SSD Review – HDTune Pro

HDTune Pro V. 4.6 – Benchmark

HDTune seems to push the sequential read just a bit higher with an average of 517MB/s but the best thing we see in this graph is the graph line itself which is the smoothest we have seen in any test previously.  We believe that this line affords a logical idea of how stable the SSD is in a system as, most often, issues with software and hardware will result in this looking like a heartbeat.

HDTune Pro V. 4.6 – Random Tests

HDTune Pro V. 4.6 – Extra Tests

The remaining HDTune Pro tests do a great job confirming what we already know and its good to see random speeds actually coming well above the posted specifications.
