I have tried the Lenovo forum but have got nowhere...

I have just bought a M900 desktop with an SSD and an M.2 storage drive. Could someone point me to information that details how this M.2 drive can be configured and tweaked, and what its relationship is to the SSD and the system as a whole.

    Thank you in advance.

The M.2 drive is an SSD; it is an additional storage medium to that of which is already installed. I don't know the motherboard you have but, chances are, that the M.2 would be a more powerful option than the SATA 3 SSD you may have in there now. Hope this helps!

Thanx for your response. Yes, I have been getting info that the OS in on the SSD. There seem to be ways to migrate it to the M.2. Not having the system in my hands as of yet, I will wait to see how it performs. I may have more questions in the future.
