EXCEEMO Launches Platinum Series SSD With 30 Year Warranty

EXCEEMO has launched the Platinum Series SATA III SSD in capacities ranging from 32GB to 512GB with an unheard of 30 year warranty.   The Platinum Series provides maximum sequential read/write and IOPS speeds of up to 555/530 and 67,000/81,000, respectively, and contains the LSI Sandforce SF-2281 flash storage processor.   Exceemo offers two primary variations, a standard operating temperature commercial model (0 deg C to 70 deg C) and an industrial operating temperature model (-40 deg C to 85 deg C).  Further sub-variants offer SLC or MLC NAND flash, with SLC capacities from 32GB to 128GB and MLC capacities from 32GB to 512GB.

EXCEEMO Platinum Series SSD Lineup (2)

The Platinum Series SSD comes standard with power protection in the form of a power down protection circuit plus ESD/surge protection, ECC error correction, TRIM support, garbage collection, SMART, and a fixed BOM.  A fixed BOM (Bill of Materials) is critical to enterprise customers since enterprise customers spend significant money testing and validating product before deployment, and an Engineering Change Order (ECO) for the product would require more time and funds to be spent, or in the worst case scenario, alienate the enterprise customer if the ECO went unnoticed post-validation/deployment.

EXCEEMO completes the Platinum Series SATA III SSD package with a SSD toolbox for flash update, performance optimization, and monitoring. Pricing and availability are not currently known.
