Crucial Expands MX300 Line With More Capacities & Form Factors

Just a month after we reviewed the Limited Edition 750GB model, Crucial is now announcing the release of more capacity options for the MX300 family. It is now available in 275GB, 525GB, the original 750GB, and 1TB. In addition, there will also be an M.2 SATA version that will be released next month in what is said to be all capacities and a 2TB model will be released soon.

The Crucial MX300 utilizes Micron’s latest 3D TLC NAND flash, a Marvell 88SS1074 controller, and their clever Dynamic Write Acceleration firmware programming to deliver speeds of up to 530MB/s read and 510MB/s write and an endurance figure of 220TBW. It has all the classic enterprise type features they have been known for, such as data-path protection, power loss protection, and AES 256-bit hardware encryption that is TCG Opal 2.0 and IEEE-1667 compliant as well as Microsoft eDrive compatible.

Furthermore, it is compatible with Crucial’s Storage Executive software and comes with a free Acronis True Image HD key and 2.5mm drive spacer.  All this comes in at what looks to be  very competitive MSRPs that should cause a stir. They are as follows:
