Intel Announces DC P4500 and DC P4600 Series of Data Center PCIe SSDs Featuring New Controller And Firmware

Intel is announcing its latest enterprise solid-state drives (SSDs) for data centers and cloud computing. The DC P4500 and DC P4600 Series pair a newly-developed Intel controller and unique firmware with Intel 3D NAND to create an all-PCIe solution that provides highly efficient storage and caching.  This allows data centers to do more per server, minimize service disruptions and manage at scale efficiently.
